While I can't speak for the entire student body, I did spend a respectful amount of time racking through my personal music collection (respectful as well) trying to find the best beats that set the mood when Dartmouth students are rubbing uglies. So whether it's with your steady, friend with benefits, or drunk hook-up, there's a song on this list for every hump.

1. "Sexual Healing" - Marvin Gaye
A classic. Can't go wrong with Marvin Gaye. This song just oozes old school lovin'.

2. "Bed" - J. Holiday
To be frank, I'm not a big fan of these Akon/Ne-yo/J. Holiday type singers. Their songs are usually trite and lack quality. "Bed" on the other hand, is enormously addictive and with lyrics that make most girls swoon.

3. "Wasted Early Sunday Morning" - Sneaker Pimps
Sounds exactly like it's titled.

4. "Mondo Bongo" - Joe Strummer & the Mescaleros
If you think this song sounds familiar, that's because it is. This is the song that Brad and Angelina bumped to in Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

5. "Wildcat" - Ratatat
For those who are feeling frisky, here's one of Ratatat's more low-key songs, complete with animal sounds.

6. "Breathe [Original 2001 Version]" - Telepopmusik
This song is for those who think they're hotter than everyone else. The whole song just sounds so sensual.

7. "Me&U" - Cassie
Perfect song if you're with (or are) a drunk girl who's really horny. Watch amazing things happen.

8. "Last Request" - Paolo Nutini
Sweet and to the point. Best for couples.

9. "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" - Daft Punk
If your hook-up has a sense of humor.

10. "Nightvision" - Daft Punk
Exactly the opposite of Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger. Very sensual.

11. "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart (ft. Joss Stone)" - Al Green
Good for make-up sex.

12. "I Love My Sex" - Benny Benassi
Best those who want to bring the club into the bedroom.

For the lazy wish-this-were-on-the-beach rendezvous.

Hate him or not, can't deny guy's got good beats.

15. "Express Yourself (Mocean Worker)" - Charles Wright & The Watts 103
Old school frisk and fun.

16. "Get Low" - Lil Jon & the Eastside Boyz
This song is a pretty legitimate song; it gets girls naked. Trust me.

17. "Them Belly Full" - Bob Marley
Good for sex when you're high. Actually, anything Bob Marley is good for weed womps.

18. "Wicked Game" - Chris Isaak
Isaak's got a very soothing tenor voice. It really sets the mood.

19. "Between the Sheets" - Isley Brothers
This song is was actually influenced by Marvin Gaye's "Sexual Healing"...and it shows. The soft vocals and synthesized beats are a perfect combination.

20. "Just Like Heaven" - The Cure
There's something oddly nostalgic about The Cure, which is weird because they're slightly before my (and I'm assuming your) time.
