New Hampshire's Valley News made the terrible typo of misspelling its own name on the front page on its July 21st issue.
They issued an editor's note the next day:
"Readers may have noticed that the Valley News misspelled its own name on yesterday's front page. Given that we routinely call on other institutions to hold themselves accountable for their mistakes, let us say for the record: We sure feel silly."
The blog Regret the Error first posted this story and it is in contention to be their 2008 Typo of the Year.
New Hampshire for the win!
Note: This is not a green flag for you to point out every typo made by me.
