Professor Juan Cole is a tad testy over the suggestion that his lectures and assigned reading are boring.

“Yes, apparently one of the problems with taking college classes you have to read… books and alas, they’re mostly not thrillers,” he tells viewers of MTV’s Professors Strike Back. “So I’m so sorry that you had that terrible experience of having to read those things.”

I don't know what's more hysterical:  Cole's monotone voice or the feisty commenter Ish who writers:

"There’s nothing stupid about this site except for the idiots who think it’s for bashing teachers. You’re right, college isn’t a cakewalk, and some people are just lazy, but this site is really helpful when you want to know a thing or two about the teacher you’re paying money to learn from. When you have a choice, it should be an educated one."
