Great timing, people. Just as the promotional train is picking up steam for the highly anticipated Watchmen film, 20th Century Fox suddenly realizes that they may own the film rights to the acclaimed graphic novel, instead of Warner Brothers. Apparently, Warner Brothers failed to acquire the rights to distribute the picture after obtaining the film. Oops.

The suit was thougt to have been settled in 2005 when Warner Brothers paid through the nose to keep the film going, now it looks like an injunction will be issued to block the movie's release next spring.
