The situation continues to get stranger - Clay Aiken’s baby has finally arrived. Born at 8:08 on lucky day 8/8/08, baby boy Parker Foster Aiken is going to need all the luck he can get with weirdo genes like his daddy’s. Wanting desperately to be a father, Aiken had his 50-year-old friend Jaymes Foster artificially inseminated. Does anyone else find this to be outta-this-world weird?
Whether you like him or not, there’s no denying that Aiken is gay – why he continues to deny the claims is a mystery because it’s so blatantly obvious. Women often worry about wanting to have children at a young age because of their biological clocks. As women get older, it becomes harder and more dangerous to conceive.
Men, on the other hand, can put fatherhood on the backburner as their biological clocks seem to be wound for life. Aiken was rushing so much to have a baby that he didn’t even look for a suitable surrogate. Women are usually seen as high risk pregnancies after the age of 35. So at 50, Foster was way past the expiration date for a mommy-to-be. Maybe he’s dying and wanted his clone-like spawn walking this earth to replace his barely missed presence.
Whatever the reason of the conception, Clay is now a father. I think we can all agree that it's finally time to close down the fertilization clinics to celebrities because we don't need any more of them out in the world.

Stumble It

"One thing I've found of people in the public eye," Aiken says, "either you're a womanizer or you've got to be gay. Since I’m neither one of those, people are completely concerned about me. They're like, 'What are you then?' I'm sure it has to do with being raised by women. I wouldn't want somebody gawking at my mom and grabbing her butt and catcalling at her, trying to hook up with her at a bar. I'm not saying I'm not going to look. Hello! But you know what I mean?" I wish only the best for Clay and his family on this exciting time of their lives. Posted 08/11/2008 7:52 PMReply
There are too many errors to count...starting with the name of the child! Since neither Mr. Aiken or Ms. Foster have made a public statement about the child's conception, where did you get your "facts"? Oh well, at least your imagination is "fertile"! Now give intelligence a try! You'll like it! Posted 08/11/2008 9:28 PMReply
not only are you grammatically incorrect, but a ****ing idiot as well! if sexing your bffl is awkward, imagine raising a child together. or even thinking about having your semen injected into them. is that not creepy enough??? Posted 08/12/2008 01:20 AMReply
Now for the part that really pissed me off. Why would you not like another Clay Aiken clone? Please tell me what is wrong with being a good, decent human being. Lord knows I've see some Dukies that sure don't need to reproduce. But Clay? He has a glorious voice, he is respectful even to those who have not respected him. He doesn't treat women as nothing but sexual objects for his own pleasures. Look what he has accomplished at the tender age of 30. National recognition as a great entertainer, co-founded the Bubel-Aiken foundation for inclusion of children with disabilities into the mainstream, named to a presidential committee, UNICEF ambassador and the list goes on. So tell me, why would you not want another 100 or 1,000,000 human beings just like him. He certainly makes the world a better place, and the more the better. Posted 08/12/2008 08:05 AMReply
