CBS to Broadcast from FSU on Election Night

As any FSU student has witnessed from the bombardment of each campaign's flyers and voter registration stands, our campus has been extremely involved in the 2008 election.

The big day is quickly approaching, so make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to vote and read up on the local issues as well. Now FSU and its politically active student body will be in the national spotlight on November 4th.

CBS has chosen Florida State as one of the remote locations to feature live from on Tuesday night.

Doak Campbell Stadium will open at 7 P.M. for FSU students, faculty, adminstrators to watch the historic election coverage on the new jumbotron screen. Access can be obtained through Gate C of the stadium with a student ID.

The CBS network will be reporting on the final tally of electoral votes in Florida and broadcast live from Florida State. Light refreshments will also be served which is a surefire way to get any college student to an event!

Happy-almost-Election-Day Seminoles!
