If Kumar (of Harold and Kumar) and Heidi Montag can get in on this election, than might as well keep the Z-list celebrities coming.
As such, the stars of ABC Family’s Greek will be making an appearance at UF to support a voter registration drive. The event is a collaboration between Follett Higher education Group, which manages the school’s bookstore, and Declare Yourself, a national nonpartisan and nonprofit campaign targeting young voters.
Sure, voting is good for our country, but the real winners here are you dear, guilty-pleasure loving Gators. September 9 come out to the UF Bookstore and you’ll get to meet your idols, or at least Scott Michael Foster (Cappie) and Dilshad Vadsaria (Rebecca).
The pair will be signing autographs and encouraging you to vote. Because nothing makes me want to perform my civic duty quite like Greek Week battles and relationship drama.
The Alligator is psyching up the student body by stating, “Register to vote next week and you might just see a celebrity.” Though, our lawyers are checking whether the use of “celebrity” can be considered false advertising.
It’s fine though. Brad Pitt was busy, so Cappie it is.

Stumble It

The event will be held Sept. 9th at the UF Bookstore between 2:00 and 4:00 Posted 09/03/2008 1:54 PMReply
