In the midst of all the racial tension on campus recently, it's ironic that the Exponent has the above banner on his homepage. At least right now, refreshing the page to get rid of it is futile. Google Ads sure has a dark sense of humor.

On the news side of things, here are a few developments in all of this:

1. West Lafayette John Dennis has released the official police report on the Triple XXX incident.

2. Today's diversity/anti-racism rally at the Diversity Tree (where the graffitied "F--- Obama" was found) drew over 200 attendees including prominent Purdue faculty. It's unknown whether the planned march to Triple XXX afterward took place in the cold and drizzle but by 4:30 p.m. when I got there, nothing was going on.

3. The Journal and Courier, local paper, suspects that the accounts given by the group of black customers from last weekend's Triple XXX incident "might not be accurate." Ya think? Since when has anyone arguing a point been completely accurate?

4. Another rally at the Tree is scheduled for this Saturday at 3 p.m. Wasn't one enough?
