Is he in or is he out? Tommy Tuberville still doesn’t know.
 

The Auburn football coach’s position with the team is in a state of limbo as year-end reviews take place this week.

Why the worry? It probably has a little something to do with Auburn’s 5-6 season and 2008 being the first year since 1999 that the team didn’t qualify for a bowl game. Oh and remember that embarrassing loss slaughter at the hands of Alabama just last weekend? Auburn certainly does.
 

With all of this in mind, no doubt, athletic director Jay Jacobs met with Tuberville yesterday to discuss the program and his status. But nothing has been resolved just yet. The Montgomery Advertiser reports:

Jacobs met with assistants throughout the afternoon. Still, he said there have been no decisions made about Tuberville's future with the program.

"We'll meet again over the next couple of days," Jacobs said. "I'll let you know how it goes."

Jacobs added that he's aiming to resolve the matter this week.

Though no official decision has been made, with the stats of this seasons still painfully fresh in everyone’s mind, it’s not looking good for Tommy boy.
