In a fabulous turn of 'Cuse Football events, SU Athletic Director Dr. Daryl Gross has chosen to (if humanly possible) further humiliate the Orange football program in upcoming seasons. Reports state that Gross, who was previously in talks with the University of Southern California Trojans football team, has reached a verbal agreement to play the Trojans in L.A. in 2011, and at home in 2012. A basketball series is also in the works. Gross stated, “We welcome and look forward to our series with USC. It will be a formidable challenge with the highest level of intersectional competition.” 

Sounds like the Orange will probably be more successful in achieving the highest level of embarrassment for themselves, and the few fans they have left. And "formidable challenge"? Congratulations, Dr. Gross! You have officially come out with the understatement of the year.
