Clusters Down; Students Pissed

Clusters Down; Students Pissed
If only there were an easy button...

So Princeton's OIT (office of information technology) is certainly no Geek Squad. While working on many, many sets of computers at a time (hats off to 'em for that) there are few that aren't experiencing some sort of technical problems, and students are slightly more than disgruntled.

Yesterday, all cluster printing in the residential colleges came to a stand-still, and several Freshmen were more perplexed than usual.

"I called them and asked when they'd fix it, and they said 'When we fix it,'" one member of the Class of 2011 ranted.

As of yesterday, the only places available for student printing were the library and the Friend Center, both a significant walk across campus.

Cluster printing improvements were on the top of the list as far as student requests to the Undergraduate Student Government, according to the Daily Princetonian.

Looks like OIT never got the memo.
