Why NOT to Use the Potomac as a Mixer
Ever think about taking a swig of the Potomac?

An article in today's Washington Post urges you to think again.  The author of this article makes two things quite clear:

1.  The Potomac is dirty.  Do not drink it.  Do not swim in it.  There may be an irregular concentration of chlorine and other chemicals.

2.  The EPA, the Environmental Working Group, and other H20 junkies who commented in the article probably did not pass general chem but are masters of the obvious and are up-and-coming politicians, making bold-ish claims saying chlorine probably isn't the safest additive to a drinking supply, and that possibly water purification system is antiquated by 30-ish years.

But hey, if it's not safe to drink... can anyone say hazing?
