Once again, we enlist the help of biology students. After the Montauk Monster, we now have evidence of another creature which requires identification.
Matthew Whitton and Rick Dyer, besides being freaks, believe that they have found the biggest freak in American folklore: Bigfoot. The two men say that they found the body of a dead Bigfoot creature in the woods of northern Georgia.
According to their description, the creature measures 7'7'' and weighs over 500 pounds, looks part human and part ape, has a footprint which is sixteen and three-quarters inches long, has reddish hair with blackish-grey eyes, and--because yes they investigated thoroughly as dilligent scientists-- it is male.
The two will present their findings at a conference on Friday. Currently, DNA testing is being completed.
Update: Check back later today to get the full scoop on the upcoming Big Foot press conference.

That he's off by 14 months makes me think finding the right Chewbacca suit was tougher than he'd imagined.
I've posted his comments and some other Bigfootishness at my blog:

Whitton and Dyer's business, Bigfoot Global LLC, might really be nothing more than a tow truck company in Georgia. Posted 08/14/2008 10:23 PMReply
