Dubya Channels John Lennon For Christmas

War Is Over, If You Want It ... hehehe

Since we probably won't be writing anything until after the new year, here's a holiday video to hold you over. Regardless of your political leanings, you have to admit this is a pretty cool video. Obviously a lot of time and effort went into finding various audio clips to make George W. Bush sing Happy Christmas (War Is Over). Unless he has a secret recording studio in the basement of the White House,  hmmm ...

So, as we head through the holiday season and into 2008, let's all remember John Lennon's words:

So this is Christmas, and what have you done/ Another year over, a new one just begun/ And so this is Christmas, I hope you have fun/ The near and the dear ones, the old and the young/ A very merry Christmas, and a happy New Year/ Let's hope it's a good one, without any fear.

And so happy Christmas, for weak and for strong/ The rich and the poor ones, the road is so long/ So happy Christmas, for black and for white/ For yellow and red ones, let's stop all the fight.

Merry Christmas - See ya in 2008!
