Harvard Football is Insensitive

This year, Harvard Football coach Tim Murphy scheduled what was to be the Crimson's first night game in football history! The scheduling of this evening athletic affair left Jewish alumni and fans seething, however, as it coincided with the holiday of Yom Kippur. GOOD ONE! Would you think to schedule a football game on Christmas?!

The Crimsy reports that Harvard Football actually played on Yom Kippur in 2004 in an away game against Brown.

This year's game has been pushed back a day. However, Allston residents are still fuming about the University's lack of consideration for their community in scheduling a high-traffic night game.

Maybe if we had a real football team, this sort of thing wouldn't be an issue.
