Just as people had started to wonder if Harvard's most brilliant star Duchess Erica Birmingham '06 had faded off into total and complete real world obscurity, the pink phoenix rises again!

No longer is she is relegated to the void of Lord & Taylor (we last heard she worked as a buyer there), for she has been gawked! Apparently, the lady who put the "champ" into "champagne" is Julia Allison's new favorite person... she even snagged a birthday party invite! Judging by Miss Birmingham's response, it looks like she might RSVP "Oui, s'il vous plait!"

Long live the pashmina! Long live the miniskirts and the furry boots and the cleavage! And, uh, long live the pearl necklaces, too. If we remember correctly, she professed in her facebook profile that she did, indeed, like both kinds. She was kidding -- we think. Anyway, Duchess, keep doing what you're doing, for Harvard has been a little less colorful and a little less magical since you left. Lord  knows that the Pudding and the A.D. have certainly been quieter.
