What a weekend: we won CORTACA 2007, I was recognized in public, and Broken Social Scene/Yo La Tengo played Cornell -- I'm just tuckered out.

Thank goodness for Intercom Roundup. Where else can one get their share of tepid, relaxing lectures and SAB events? (Also, Couples Counseling with Shakespeare, wtf?)

This week was peppered with good news and exclamations:

• Scholarship Initiative Tops $29 Million! (None of which is going to me)
• Hey! Sustainability is Online! (Technology! The environment? Merging together at last!)
• Parking Lot Lights Not Working in Y Lot!!!!1!! (jay-kay!)

But, of course, what I'm really looking forward to is this intriguing rhetorical questiony event: What is Native American Literature? Does it Exist?

The answer: yes?

This lecture, presented by Scott Lyons, reeks of grey area, but apparently is very controversial. Not to be missed.
