Speaking of the insane Christian community at UNC, creationism advocate David Plaisted has taken a bold new step in the creationism vs. evolution argument by making an ass of himself.

In his attempt to tackle the delicate issue regarding the existence of other primates, Plaisted suggests that they are here for our amusement:

           "...Both children and adults enjoy seeing gorillas and chimpanzees in zoos. It is reasonable to assume that these creatures were partly made for just this reason, to be a joy and entertainment to us."

David makes a great point. Only with divine inspiration could chimpanzees be this funny.
