Because I lead a ridiculously interesting life, I was poking around the Collegian archives today, and came across this.  In 1940, summer session cost 5 bucks per credit.  If you haven't had the joy of taking a summer class these days, they are now pushing $400 per credit.  Now I'm not claiming to be some great math wizard, but I'm pretty sure that's an increace of ninteen gazillion percent. 

I bet Penn State was awesome in 1940.  It was a time when everyone smoked unfiltered Lucky Strikes, no matter what time of day it was, there was always a chance of everyone just doing the jitter bug for no reason.
