USC Alum Creates Video To Spread Obama-Love Nationwide

Thanks to M.J for shooting this my way. USC alum Mayank Keshaviah got a bunch of USC students together to create the ultimate grass-roots campaign video for Obama:

"Two college buddies had a dream to help a Senator from Illinois get elected president, but hated the idea of politics always being about money...especially since they had none. But they did have some free time, a will.i.am CD, and few friends willing to lend their talents. We hope you like our video, but most importantly, we hope you get out and vote on Nov. 4!."

Based on Will.I.Am's "I Got it From My Mama", the video "I'm Votin' For Obama"  tells the story of one guy's decision to support Barack Obama for president, from seeing him speak at a rally pre-Senate to watching him rise in the political world to eventually become the front runner for the election. Not only is it damn catchy, but the lead guy looks like a hotter version of Will.I.Am. Nice.

The video is fun and campy, and seems to have been filmed completely on the USC campus and surrounding area--difficult to do without getting caught by DPS. Nicely done, guys! The video is right up there with "I've Got a Crush on Obama". Only USC girls are more awesome than the Obama Girl, in my humble opinion (No Offense Obama Girl, I love your work!).

Normally I leave politics to my more fiery counterparts, but I've gotta say, Fight On Trojans-- Awesome Job!. One of the things I love about the internet is, besides providing me with a sweet job, anyone and everyone can get up and get involved in the nation's politics by sharing their voice. Nothing is quite as sexy as being involved.
