Poor Columbia. Teachers College is getting sued by former professor Madonna Constantine for wrongful termination, and now the college itself is in hot water. Dozens of students have been blitzed with this email from alum Roy Hollander: 

"I'm a graduate of the Columbia Business School and a lawyer who is currently suing Columbia University because its Women's Studies program discriminates against male students and male alumni and violates the First Amendment establishment clause concerning religion.

The case is a class action lawsuit, and I am currently looking for Columbia students or organizations to join as plaintiffs. All expenses are being picked up by the MR Legal Fund."

This may sound familiar to any quizlaw junkies out there. Just last year, a man sued a number of bars and clubs, claiming that "ladies nights" constituted sex discrimination. That guy may have won, but he sure looked like a douche. And in your case, Roy, having a Women's Studies department is arguably less frivolous and more justified than having a ladies night. I don't see the precedent carrying. How the Women's Studies program violates the establishment clause is also beyond me.
