Offered A Job? Check This Site Out First!

For every graduating college student coming to the realization that no one will be knocking on their door to offer a salaried job, I have a website to offer you before you get too antsy and accept the first position offered to you. I myself almost fell into that trap, but was lucky enough to have an Aunt in career services that could smell the red-flag. Where did she actually find the red-flag? Ripoffreport.com.

Really a simple site, ripoffreport.com simply offers a search engine where one can look up different businesses and see if they've had complaints, and it is a bit more user friendly than looking up records from the better business bureau.

My story began when I was in the running for a multi-level (A term one apparently needs to be cautious of) marketing job. At first I had my suspicions, but was told to be cautiously optimistic. So I went and it seemed like a great place to work at with great opportunities! HUZZAH! However, that plane of optimistic-opportunity came crashing down when I was presented with a plethora of complaints about the company via ripoffreport.com. The complaints varied from suspicions over whether or not the business actually did help out charities, as they advertised, along with some other shady happenings that I originally was suspicious of before ever being interviewed.

Since then, I have avoided a couple of other businesses pleading (the fact that they were pleading should have been a hint...) for my services by checking them out on ripoffreport.com. Do the same and I assure you that while you may remain unemployed for a bit longer than expected, at least you won't end up getting scammed.
