Play of the Day: Kobe Bryant's 61 Points At Madison Square Garden

Last night, Kobe Bryant made NBA history by scoring an unprecedented 61 points against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

Apparently, the L.A. Lakers star has still got the magic dribble. He proved it back in Beijing when he led the Olympic Redeem Team to victory, and he proved it again last night when he shattered the previous top-scoring record held by Michael Jordan.

Kobe Bryant may be a poor man’s Michael Jordan, but he deserves all the praise he has received for this impressive feat. It took more than a decade for someone to break Jordan’s record, and it will probably take someone just as long as to even come close to Bryant’s.

If you missed the game last night, YouTube has you covered. So, sit back, relax and enjoy history in the making.
