Ike Makes it to Ohio

Ike Makes it to Ohio

Technically summer had until around September 22nd to pick up and leave for the year, but fall was having none of that this past Sunday afternoon!

Fall came in with a vengeance Sunday (teaming up with the remnants of Hurricane Ike), blowing Summer right out of Oxford, OH.  What started out as a hot, muggy Summer day quickly turned into a cool fall day.  The aftermath of Fall's beat down on Summer was a plethora of broken tree limbs and power lines painting the streets of our once neat and tidy college town.

The massive onslaught of wind was enough to screw up our power grid and cancel class for Monday. So what would a college community do in the midst of such a strange incident?  You guessed it!  Day drinking and grilling ensued.  All of that meat was going to go bad anyway, so it's time to make the best of this music-less day and candle lit night.
