Well it's September 30th, which means that the September 29th update of Xbox Live should be over. However, I'm hearing reports that in some places it's still down, and nerds everywhere are threatening to throw themselves off buildings (or maybe shower) unless this gets resolved. I'm not exactly sure what's taking so long, but my Xbox better be a cappuccino machine by the time this update is over.

The Xbox Live site says that it's "up and running" but that hasn't stopped top Google search results from being "xbox live still down" and "when will xbox live be back up?" People, the stock market implodes on itself yesterday and you're worried about your Call of Duty kill count?

Although I do suppose escaping from reality might the best means of defense in the neo-Great Depression scenario. I'm off to go kick some Chinese kid's ass in Mario Kart Wii!

Is Live still down for you? If so, what time is it, and where do you live?
