Dear John McCain,
What were you thinking?
Tonight’s VP debate at WashU has everyone waiting for Palin to fall flat on her face. You’d think in times of such anticipation, you would want to set the bar low, so that no matter how well Palin did people would be impressed (I mean, it’s possible right?).
But no.
Instead, you put out this ad prepping the nation for Biden to gaffe it up at the debates. Really? You want to get in a war over who makes more blunders?
Okay, I’ll give you that Biden puts his foot in his mouth sometimes (most times?). He may have a few troubles with tact and whatnot, but at least he understands the issues.
But remember your running mate? She’s said her proximity to Russia counts as foreign policy experience, she doesn’t know anything you’ve accomplished in Congress, she thinks dinosaurs coexisted with humans, she wasn’t even sure of the vice president’s duties… should I continue?
It’s a catchy tagline you’ve there:
Ready to gaffe? Yes
Ready to lead? No
Too bad most people will think of Palin first.
Much gaffetastic love,
America
