Missouri Players Wear #25 to Honor Fallen Comrade

In a display of remembrance for their former team mate, this year seniors on the Missouri football team will alternate wearing the #25 every game this season. The number belonged to Aaron O'Neil, a freshman linebacker who died after a voluntary workout session in 2005.

This past weekend, the jersey was worn by Brock Christopher, a senior linebacker on the squad:

"'I think that with A.O. being a linebacker and Brock being a senior and starter at that position, we felt that he would be the best guy to wear it,' senior quarterback Chase Daniel said."

The Tigers crushed SEMO this weekend 52-3. I'm sure Aaron would be proud.
