Everyone’s favorite/most hated band of junior high might be reuniting. No, sadly, it’s not Blink-182, but it’s going to be equally entertaining to watch. That’s right it’s the band that brought you “Rollin,” “My Generation,” and “Nookie,” Limp Bizkit.
The band split in 2006 after their newest album sucked ass and monkey-faced guitarist Wes Borland left the band citing “creative differences,” (read: Fred Durst is a Douche). So might we see another decent album after the greatness that was “Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water”? Fred Durst would seem to indicate yes on his MySpace blog:
“it is getting very close to time to drop the bizkit on the universe".
“I say this with the absolute best intentions and motivation. We, Limp Bizkit, are excited about the future for us and for you," Durst wrote.
"LBF is the way. LBF is for life. Let's stir some shit up my friends.”
He added: “Today is a very special day. Make a note of it.”
Sure that’s slightly cryptic, but don’t be surprised if you hear some rapcore (term copyrighted by Fred Durst) on the radio soon enough. Sure Durst is 38 and no one has ever, ever been crying out for a Limp Bizkit reunion, but I’ll be damned if I wouldn’t start rocking out I heard a halfway decent new track from them. As a reminder of how awesome you thought they used to be, here’s a one of the greatest videos ever:

Stumble It

Oh by the way, when Limp & Rage broke up(Rage reunited last year), Korn had numerous band changes, Kid Rock quit being the bulldog & Wu-Tang was falling apart, this when Disney Records took over and now you see the results.
LB may not be the perfect band but they were real. I rather let a kid hear LB than the Jonass Brothers anyday of the week. Posted 10/07/2008 2:18 PMReply
