Video game-loving College Democrats and Republicans are in for a treat this October. THQ is releasing the second installment of their hit series Saint’s Row, and its robust character creation system allows political-savvy gamers to play as their favorite presidential hopeful.

That’s right – if your heart so desires, you can assume the role of John McCain and break out your gang members from the state penitentiary, become Harvard and Columbia alumnus Barack Obama and toss exploding barrels out of a speedy van, or if you really want to take a trip into fantasy land, do both in co-operative play with a friend.

The choice is yours, but the results are all the same – gut-busting hilarity.
