Auburn University is stepping into the digital age.
The school is taking back the webcam from the Internet pervs and giving it a wholesome, school-spirited spin. Ten new cameras will be placed throughout campus so that viewers at home can see what’s going on at the university 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Log into http://www.ocm.auburn.edu/webcams/ to view the live, streaming video of popular areas on campus, including Tomer’s Corner, Jordan-Hare Stadium, Samford Lawn and more.
Watch as college students walk back and forth, cars drive by and trees stay in the same place.
Still, for some the peak into college life is a day’s worth of excitement. Oanow.com explains just who these Auburn addicts are:
The site is especially useful for parents who want to see what is happening on campus, alumni who are homesick for their Alma Mater and prospective students who can see AU’s campus from their home computers.
Parents I’ll let slide.
But students and alumni?
Get a life.
