You could call the CMJ Music Marathon a New York music journalist’s wet dream. A music festival almost encyclopedic in scope held by the College Music Journal (CMJ), it saturates five days and about 75 venues with some of the best indie, folk, thrash, noise rock, art rock, hip-hop, synth-pop, and the rest of the gamut in between.
Now CollegeOTR is taking you there. So make sure to watch out for OTR on CMJ features beginning this Tuesday.
We’ll have CMJ photo galleries, video footage, and reviews for acts such as The Virgins. We’ll have exclusive interviews with bands including Deerhoof and Blonde Acid Cult. We’ll have mp3s for you to check out, like the song here, a new single from the Action Painters called “Supermarket.”
OTR on CMJ: October 21-October 25.
NYU student discount tickets are available at the CMJ website.
