NYU students watch out… just when you thought it was safe to enjoy the trendy spots in the city, Sex and the City is back to ruin it. People magazine is reporting that Kim Cattrall has confirmed that there will be a sequel to the popular movie:
The actress appeared on Britain's The Paul O'Grady Show, with guest-host Spice Girl Melanie Brown.
Asked point blank, "Will there be a sequel?" Cattrall replied emphatically, "Yes there will!"
Calls to HBO and Warner Bros. have not been returned.
Hmmm… wasn’t it Cattrall who was against the first movie? The supposed best friend allegedly disagreed with the salary she would receive, but now all of a sudden she’s on board for part two? Either execs are putting up some cold hard cash... or desperate times mean desperate measures.
Oh well, like it or not the sequel will probably be invading the city soon. So NYU students, live it up at the cool clubs now, because once Sex and the City comes to town, tacky tourists won’t be far behind.
