The Dalai Lama is in the House

The Dalai Lama is in the House
Friend: "Oh dude, the Dalai Lama is coming to Purdue !!"
Me: "Ha"
Me: "Wait...what? o.O "

Apparently, it is true.

"Cultivating Happiness" is the title to the speech he will be giving on Oct. 26th.
"Purdue's invitation to His Holiness, who is the spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhism, was one of the few from universities accepted."

But really, what...?
Purdue has had its share of high profiled speakers in the past few years with the likes of Colin Powell and Madeleine Albright, but the Dalai Lama...? That's a completely different spectrum.

Tickets are expected to be sold out within 48 hours of avaliability.
Bummer.

Here are the other projected universities to be graced with the Holiness's presence:
Cornell U
Emory U
Indiana U
Lehigh U
U of Wisconsin
