Chris Whittle, the man to blame for Channel One ruining your homeroom gossiping in high school, is back with another terrible idea. Whittle is teaming up with a Dubai private school mogul to start up an international chain of elite private schools called Nations Academy. How does this affect the college student, you may ask? The students that will be matriculating at these fancy-pants schools will soon become freshmen at your college. Scared yet?

Just when you thought you had finally rid yourselves of the evils of Whittle's ways, he found a way to creep back into your lives. One of the chain's first schools will be in Manhattan and oddly enough the school will not be located on the Upper East Side. I already find myself sympathizing with those poor unfortunate trust fund teens having to truck all the way across town. Luckily - they will have something to complain about and hate their fathers for when college rolls around.

The other school will be in Bethesda, Maryland - a suburb right outside of Washington D.C. Whittle approximates that the two US schools will be completed around 2011 and will be raking in about 1,700 students from pre-kindergarten to high school. Whittle also hopes to have about 60 campuses worldwide up and running by 2021 earning him a cool $3 billion a year.

So brace yourselves - college students everywhere, the bourgeoisie offsprings will soon replace your beloved memories of beer pong games and sexy club ensembles with croquet sets and seersuckers. Start waving goodbye to your past because this is the future of colleges.
