Monster Madness August continues!
Yesterday, Brooklyn’s two-headed turtle made headlines. Today, it’s a cat with four ears named Yoda from Chicago.
According to Fox News:
Ted and Valerie Rock first spied the little guy in 2006 at neighborhood bar on the South Side of Chicago before a Bears game. He was the last of a litter of eight put up for adoption by the bar's owner.
[The] Rocks, who had lost their cat of 20 years just 6 months prior, saw something special in the gray kitten and decided to take him home.
Their "Star Wars"-loving son thought to name the cat after the tiny Jedi master.
Wait – no one “likes” Star Wars anymore. Stop perpetuating that rumor, Fox News!
Also, considering the cat looks nothing like the green Jedi master, couldn’t they have come up with a better name…
"I had named him Barfly," Rock said. "But we kind of liked Yoda better, and Barfly lasted only about a day."
I guess not.
Man -- we're only halfway through August, and we have already seen the Montauk Monster, a 44lb. cat, a two-headed turtle, a fake Bigfoot, a fishgator and a cat with four ears.
What devil creatures will we see next?
