5 Things You Think Exist Outside of Williams But Don't
Now that you've been home for a while I'm sure that I'm not the only person who has noticed this things:

1. Friendly People - You have been trained, whether you like it or not, to smile at people as people pass you them on the sidewalk. People in Williamstown usually smile back. People outside of Williamstown usually cross the street.

2. Your ID Card - You ID card doesn't do anything in the real world. That bar code and those numbers on the back mean nothing. The only thing you'll be swiping is your credit card. Also, your ID card is not a key. You don't know how many times I've instinctively whipped out my ID card at my front door.

3. Janitors - No one but you (or maybe the cleaning lady) is going to clean up that vomit that's in the sink, Junior.

4. Walking Distance - Nothing is close. Even a walk to your kitchen seems like a trek. Waking up 5 minutes before meeting someone is no longer doable, there's a half an hour minimum when you're at home.

5. Snack Bar - Got a craving for some Mozzarella sticks at 11:30 on a Tuesday night? Too bad, you'll either have to wait until tomorrow to get some at or wait 45 mintues for them to be delivered to your house.
