Is this what they mean when they say Multimedia Storytelling?

The Daily and North by Northwestern have teamed up to bring you 24 video vignettes about the various facets of the university. Check it out at www.24atnu.com

And what they've uncovered is really mind-blowing. Who knew that drunk kids stopped at BK on their way home from "the eighteen hundred club"? TA's try to facilitate discussion as supposed to just lecturing "like a recorder"? Wait... physics is "essential to most engineering" and 8 a.m. class blows?

Absolutely riveting. The medium is NOT the message, kiddos. Just because you can edit and embed a video does not mean you've got a story.

Even more tedious, the stories are not all available immediately to emphasize just what a big wasted effort this whole thing is. The Daily and NBN doing what they do best: ambitiously pinpointing the obvious. Say what, we're in college? Let's make a video about it!

But do check out the Blogger story where the Overheard at NU creator (timid, boring, ideal for this safe project) talks about... us writing about her blog!
