So apparently this guy is the new mayor of West Lafayette. After weeks of clogging the Exponent with appeals to students who most likely aren’t even registered to vote in the local elections, he managed to pull ahead of incumbent candidate Jan Mills by about 600 votes.

One of the central issues up for debate during the campaign was the draconian towing methods practiced by certain landlords, particularly down by the Neon Cactus.

Now that we’ve got this new guy in office, will anything change? Or was it all empty campaign rhetoric? He takes office on January 1st, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
