In Their Footsteps: The Worst of the Best NU Alums
It's important for all the incoming freshmen to get to know the fabulous alumni of Northwestern. In addition to providing prestige to an already outstanding university, they'll provide great connections when you're looking for a job. Here are the top 5:

1) Robert Hanssen- The name probably doesn't immediately ring a bell, but if you've seen the movie Breach, you know who this is. Hanssen is a former FBI agent who sold secrets to the Soviet Union and was eventually arrested. He's now serving a life prison sentence in a federal prison in Colorado.

2) Jerry Springer- Former mayor of Cincinnati, current host of Jerry Springer, everyone's favorite high-brow daytime television program.

3) Arthur Andersen- Yes, the Arthur Andersen that started the accounting firm that helped Enron cook the books. Another one for the alumni wall. Oh and there's even a hall on campus named for him.

4) Charlton Heston- President of the NRA. 'Nuff said.

5) David Schwimmer- It doesn't really matter what the schmuck does with the rest of his career. He'll always be partly responsible for Friends. Not good.

Go U, NU!
