Yesterday, ASU's James Harden and Sarah Reaves were named Student Athletes of the Month. News of their accomplishment came via the NCAA's website:
"James Harden of the men's basketball team and Sarah Reaves of the volleyball team have been named Student-Athletes of the Month, the Office of Student-Athlete Development announced Thursday.
Harden, a freshman, had an outstanding first year at ASU both on the court and in the classroom. He averaged a team-high 17.8 points per game to lead the Sun Devil men's basketball team to a 21-13 season, and he earned first-team All-Pac-10 honors...
Reaves also enjoyed a standout freshman year as a Sun Devil, making tremendous strides as both a student and an athlete. She earned a starting spot at outside hitter this past season, and she ended up leading the team with 418 kills..."
