Evanston's newest hotspot, Blu Sushi Lounge, will have its grand opening this Saturday, September 29th. Located adjacent to the Hotel Orrington, Blu will attempt to be a classier alternative to bars like Hundo or the Keg. So far, the club seems to be off to the right start by promising bodypainting, go go dancers, and live music from WNUR DJs, along with Sapporo on tap and $4 sake bombs.

No word yet on how strict the carding will be, but let's be realistic: the club is marketing toward NU students and has its own Facebook group. Blu is like sooo college.
