Fears for Another Rainy Dillo Day

Fears for Another Rainy Dillo Day

After an extremely party heavy weekend and less than a week to the most extreme party weekend we ever really see here at Northwestern, today's weather does not bode well for the future.

Last weekend, we were lucky enough to see our first truly nice days - according to the Chicago Tribune, one of only three over-80-degrees days this entire year - and just in time for Memorial Day BBQs.

And then last night, the temperature dropped literally at least thirty degrees in about half an hour, letting us wake up to another dreary, 45 degree day. On May 27th. Awesome.

Now, looking at the weather forecast, it looks like clouds and probably rain on Dillo Day, which would be a real shame. Predictions thus far are 30% chance of precipitation, with a dour looking thunderstorm showing us what we don't want to read. With all the sweet bands coming, it'll be a real shame to get shoved into Patten Gym once again.

Cross your fingers, folks. Is it too much to ask for a couple of nice spring days before June?
