It’s been a rumor for a few weeks now, but today Obama actually came out and said that he was appointing Chicago Representative and Northwestern grad Rahm Emanuel to be his Chief of Staff. Emanuel has been in congress since 2002 and serves on the House Ways and Means Committee.

A very interesting fact about Rahm, his brother, Ari Emanuel is the real-life inspiration for Ari Gold’s character on Entourage. And his other brother, Ezekiel, is a world renowned doctor. I’d hate to be at a party with Mrs. Emmanuel, “Oh your son’s a lawyer? Well my sons…”
