Mark Miller, an NYU undergraduate teacher, recently informed his Film: History and Form students of a FREE showing of a documentary about voting fraud and some of the most pressing moral issues behind voting in the 2008 electiong. Rumor has it that after the showing there will be a Question and Answer session in which students and faculty alike will be invited to ask Miller and his peers about the pressing issues they face this time around. Miller's email explained:
Why should you care about voting? Never before has this issue been so
pertinent. Steinhardt USG invites you to spend an evening with DCC Professor
(as well as author and regular guest of the Daily Show) Mark Crispin Miller.
Professor Miller will be joined by NYU Alum Director, John Ennis - whose film
FREE FOR ALL will be showing that night – to discuss some of the most pressing
issues of this election season. This is going to be a large event, obviously with free food, so get there early!
It’s this Tuesday, October 21st at 5:30 – 8:00pm in Kimball Hall (246 Greene
Street).Steinhardt USG Wants YOU...to be there, get informed, and spread the word.
See You There!
Miller is technically titled: Professor of Media Ecology and has been following voter fraud for a long time, and is even considered a scholar on the matter. He has compiled a book of essays and is definitely a reliable source of political information and though little details about his plans for this documentary showing are available, it seems something worthy of looking into. A great opportunity to get some answer, at least. Miller's blog offers a great deal of insight into the issue at hand as well as useful facts for all of us upcoming voters, a significant amount of currently enrolled college students who will be voting for the first time.
