Another upstart Northwestern blog (aka "new media-based resume fodder") has planted its roots in what one assumes are the hopes of becoming a haven for NU-related snark. Lord knows there's enough to snark about at NU, so the gut reaction would be "More power to them."

On closer inspection, the blog's creator and primary poster would be best advised to wait on calling out others' "mediocre copy" until he starts mandating sparkling prose on his own pages. The writing verges dangerously away from irreverent snark into bitchy, desperate queen territory. Saddest of all, it's not even so-bad-it's-good, Center Stage-style funny.

The two gentlemen running the place might want to step away from the mutual masturbation and shape things up before job-hunting season. If they end up breaking their arms while patting themselves on the back, they will be totally unemployable at Gawker.
