A routine search on eBay reveals some promising items for the NU lover in all of us...
Top finds:
1. Limited edition cheerleader barbie from 1996. Mattel, Inc. is reported to be in the final stages of its Tyrell Sutton Ken doll.
2. Vintage LP record album of the NU marching band. If you even own a record player you can listen to the fight song without a choir of 1,000 tone-deaf students.
3. Intricate Christmas ornament. This is a very rare find since the item was discontinued once the company realized nobody at NU celebrates Christmas.
4. December 1945 issue of the "Purple Parrot", a discontinued magazine of collegiate life. The cover includes a photo of an "excited" football player using his helmet to shield his boner.
5. 1937 Syllabus. Even if you don't bid on the yearbook you have to at least check out the picture of the NU Women's Archery Club. Any ladies willing to reinstate the club?
