Apparently, Mary Desler's been making some surprise appearances at parties, escorting police to each one in order to find out which students are throwing it.

Along with trying to take down all the frats and apparently posing as a student online, Big D's decided to outlaw fundraising parties, one of the main moneymakers for film and theater students on campus.

Rumor has it that if she finds out which student group is responsible for the parties, she'll shut them down, no questions asked.

Here's a question: Why does the university have so much control over what goes on off-campus all of a sudden?
