Yes, we all know the famous Senator spoke Monday: You read about it for weeks beforehand, and the papers are saturated with his sound byte claims and statements.

The real story was his rapport with the crowd. Three people fell over and passed out during the rally, creating awkward pauses and turning heads. It wasn't more than 60 degrees in the room at Monona Terrance, so either there were dehydrated old people or his female fans were freaking out cum '60s Beatlemania. 

Attendees were also flexing their democratic muscles and shouting topics of importance. "Bring the troops home!," some guy said. "I'll get to that one later," Obama replied.

Increasing teachers wages got a huge round of applause (understandably), anti-war statements such as "I voted against it in 2002" received the classic shouts of approval, and a proposition to talk to Iran and Syria on nuclear issues brought about a patter of clapping.

In other news, no one went to class Monday morning.
