Today is Not a Good Day: Four Arrested in Bank Robbery This Afternoon
Only a few hours before today's Durant St. shooting, a credit union several blocks southwest of campus was robbed by four suspects.

The four entered the union with shotguns, ordered employees to the ground, and fled with $6,000.

Police chased their vehicle and arrested them not long after. Thankfully, there were no serious injuries.

This has been a tragic two weeks here at Berkeley, which also included the stabbing of a Cal student, the shooting mentioned earlier, and an automobile accident involving another student.
