Have you been to Willard Park lately? It's just two blocks away geographically from the infamous People's Park, but couldn't be farther environmentally. The small park is usually filled with couples sunbathing, students studying, local families having picnics, and hotties playing frisbee. With the arrival of good weather we've had this weekend (69 and sunny, with a slight breeze--California is awesome), Willard has been pretty busy, meaning some excellent people-watching opportunities. Today it was a circus, quite literally, as all of these groups came and performed their stunts separately. Where else in Berkeley can you see people walking on a tightrope, juggling, and hula hooping in one place--for free? Bring a blanket and a book, and you're ready for a great Sunday afternoon.
